Search Window

BannedStory 3.0 now has a search window. It allows you to search any item using different parameters (gender, class, original or custom, name, type).

Each category inside the search window has specific options, which appear at the right. When the "Match all options" checkbox is selected, all options must match for finding an item. Uncheck this option to match any of the options.

Besides typing the name of the item or part of it, you can use the following characters to perform specific name searches:

• You can type the asterisk * to search items with no names.
• You can type hypen - to perform a search regardless of the item name (good when having the "Match all options" checkbox enabled).

To add an item from the search into BannedStory, you have to select it first. After selecting an item in the search, the "Add Selected Item" button at the bottom will became enabled. Click it to add the selected item. If the selected layer is of the same kind as the kind of the selected item inside the search, the item will be added to that layer, otherwise a new layer will be created for that item.
